We love visiting the Farmers Market at Fernandina Beach. This is our second time and we weren’t disappointed. We were able to pick up some great produce as well as some amazing fresh salsa and guacamole (which we scarfed down yesterday afternoon). The weather has been gorgeous, so after the market we walked around for a few hours and enjoyed the day. It was time to leave the Bahamas and make our way back to the United States. We dropped our friends off at Green Turtle Cay Marina and started to make our way to either Charleston, Beaufort or, ideally, Mathews, VA. The channel was a bit more tricky than I had expected.
