☠️ More bad choices here: https://youtu.be/hcmv4li_W9E Sailing the Bahamas, we found stingrays swimming close to shore. They were really wanting to hang out. So I tried to pet one and THIS happened. Luckily I didn't end up like Steve Irwin, RIP. He seemed like a really great guy and it saddens me to this day that he's gone. https://youtube.com/shorts/25zK-ZIbs68 This Killed Steve Irwin and I Pet One ☠️

Caribbean Sailing During Hurricane Season! ⛵️⛈️🌤️ Sailing in the Caribbean during hurricane season means dealing with more frequent squalls compared to the dry season. The weather becomes inconsistent and even if the forecast looks good, you might encounter squalls on longer passages, with quite big waves in the acceleration zones between the islands. Pick the right weather window, these squalls are usually brief. Reef early and relax—sunshine will return in a few minutes. Sometimes though, tropical waves bring bad weather for a longer period of time. In those cases, it’s best to find a safe anchorage and wait it out. Weather planning is crucial during this season. Cheers guys, stay safe! ⛵️⛈️☀️ #weather #hurricaneseason #squall . #storm #sailing #badweather #bigwaves #ocean #offshoresailing #oceanwaves #sailorgirl #caribbeansailing #adventure #digitalnomad #nomadiclife #womenwhosail #nautical
