One of the things I love about sailing the world and traveling the way we do is trying new foods and learning new ways of cooking. In Trinidad, one of the clear winners has been Green Seasoning! A simple yet versatile seasoning mix, we'd never come across it before visiting the Caribbean. Now, it goes on BBQ ribs and chicken, and into our Trini curries, almost becoming a staple in our galley fridge! I show you how I make a flavorful, Trinidad-inspired green seasoning, a staple in Caribbean cuisine, before finishing off with some delicious BBQ! In mine I put thyme, spring onions (chives), pimento, habanero and parsley, garlic when I remember, and usually a bit of oil and lime juice. Check it our for yourself! - https://amzn.to/4iNrN2g When Trent first suggested getting a Milwaukee Stick Transfer Pump for the boat, I honestly thought it was a waste of money. But I’m happy to admit I was completely wrong. We've had massive rainstorms here in St Martin — over 100 gallons of rainwater ended up in our dinghy in just one day. Normally, it would have taken 20+ minutes (and a lot of effort) to bail it out by hand, but with the transfer pump it was emptied in about 3 minutes, no heavy lifting, no drama. The pump runs on the same Milwaukee M12 batteries we already use with our other tools and can be used in other areas of the boat, like the water tanks, bilges and lockers. I snart 60 år har vi på Varbergs Sparbank delat ut ungdomsledarstipendier till ledare som gör ovärderliga insatser för att bygga det fantastiska föreningsliv vi har här i Varbergs kommun och Horred. Ungdomsledare som ger av sin ideella tid och som varje vecka ser, bekräftar och får barn och ungdomar att växa. I år har vi fått in: • 55 nominerade ungdomsledare • Som representerar 31 olika lokala föreningar Från och med i morgon ger vi oss ut på turné med checkar under armen, blomsterbuketter och konfettiregn och överraskar ledaren i sitt rätta element - tillsammans med föreningen - i en digital stipendieutdelning som pågår hela oktober. 10 ungdomsledare får 10 000 kr. Även föreningen som ledaren är aktiv i får 10 000 kr. Hoppas du följer med och hyllar Varbergs fantastiska ungdomsledare tillsammans med oss från och med 5 oktober.
