Sailing a beautiful high-altitude (8,601 ft elevation) Colorado mountain lake in my 2010 Precision 18 trailer sailer, s/v "Mandatory Fun." Winds were pretty heavy, so I double-reefed the mainsail. Filmed with the Insta360 X3 mounted on the bow pulpit with the 3 meter selfie stick. Music: "All Around Me" by Luna Orbit Subscribe and follow @ColoradoSailing on YouTube for more original sailing videos, gear, boat maintenance, sailing tips and travel content as I sail my Precision 18 trailer sailer and Precision 16 sailing dinghy in Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, Wyoming and South Dakota. #sailingchannel #coloradosailing #extremesports #sailing #dinghysailing #insta360

The Path to Paris has begun, and the best, young, doublehanded teams on earth race for the 2022 Junior World Championship. The fleet is in the luxurious Lake Como, Italy in some of the most scenic and serene conditions on early. Many teams are competing for the U23 worlds title and to set a marker as the top dogs as team have a shortened window until the next Olympic games. https://49er.org/event/2022-junior-world-championship-2/
J109 Going to Red was weaving in and out of the slower fleets as the made their way to Oban on the first passage race of West Highland Week 2023. Things we relatively calm at this stage of the race with the helping tide reducing the apparent breeze which made for smooth sailing which made it easy to judge close crosses like this one. As the day progress and the breeze built things got a little more lively towards the second half of the race with a few of the close crosses getting done with the boats more out of control than in. The bottom up boats team had a great time at WHYW, the weather was not great but the sailing and the social life more than made up for the damp conditions.
