Sailing a beautiful high-altitude (8,601 ft elevation) Colorado mountain lake in my 2010 Precision 18 trailer sailer, s/v "Mandatory Fun." Winds were pretty heavy, so I double-reefed the mainsail. Mexico is home to all types of amazing marine life—from huge shoals of mobula rays to great white sharks. One of the coolest things to do while staying in Mexico though is to go snorkeling with these silky sharks which hang out just off the coast line. Not to worry, these sharks are very docile and completely safe to swim with.
