Schön, dass du hier bist! Wir, Emely und Tjark, haben uns den Traum vom eigenen Segelboot erfüllt, eine Maxi84, relativ spontan und ohne das ganz große Geld. Das Boot müssen wir noch umtaufen auf den Namen Meera. Wir nehmen dich mit auf unsere Reise von blutigen Anfängern zu hoffentlich passablen Seglern. Bevor wir uns in die Wellen stürzen können, liegt noch ein Berg an Arbeit vor uns. Umbauten, Änderungen und vor allem der Sportbootführerschein müssen erledigt werden. Außerdem müssen wir noch lernen richtig zu segeln. Du kannst dich also schon auf die nächsten Videos freuen! Video of our boating trip on the Silver River and the Ocklawaha River in Ocala, Florida. The Silver River Springs are the largest artesian springs in the world. Ocala, Florida, is known as the "Horse Capital of the World" because it has more horses than any other county in the United States. On the full version of this video: https://youtu.be/np4Y2tWLSY4?si=cMFGyz7M6gNHFZe4 at minute 5:30 along the Ocklawaha River we think we heard the wild monkeys: "Yes, there are wild rhesus macaque monkeys in Silver Springs State Park in Florida: Origin - The monkeys are native to Asia and were released into the park in 1938 by a boat tour operator to attract tourists. Population - There are an estimated 400 monkeys in the park at any given time. They can be found roaming the riverbanks and trees along the Silver River. Behavior - The monkeys can be aggressive and nasty and may chase people down for long periods of time. They can also get aggressive if people try to feed them or get too close."
