Deep into the rudder project and we need a long fairing board to sand the blade. There's no point buying one as we don't intend to use it that often (fingers 🤞) and they are quite heavy so what's the solution? Use some scraps of foam and staple the sanding paper to it. Works a treat, didn't cost us anything and it is uper light weight. Winning 👍

The new transom door is also a complete, gel-coated carbon-vinylester moulding, so reducing weight in the boat's back-end. This lightening is in both the door itself and its operational componentry.
