We are enclosing and extending our wheelhouse before winter for protect and so we can move the mainsheet from the top of the aft cabin to above the wheelhouse (better safety and a better sheeting angle). We have nearly finished the prototype/winter hack frame. We are now living aboard our Rival 38 Centre Cockpit full-time while finishing a refit so we can launch ASAP. Oggi è una giornata di buone notizie e di cattive notizie. È una giornata di acquisti spaziali, di schiene dritte e di fisioterapia evitata. In questa giornata l’autopilota non viene aggiustato e speriamo tanto possano farlo domani. Sarà una giornata lunga domani perché temiamo che le nostre speranze si spegneranno tristemente. Allora dobbiamo compensare oggi con una bella giornata. È per questo che, finito il lavoro, andiamo a noleggiare una deriva (sulla quale io non sono mai salita, oltretutto). Ma oggi si trasforma in una giornata un po’ sbilenca, perché stanno riponendo proprio in questo momento le derive e fino a domani non si potranno noleggiare. Così la giornata in deriva diventa la giornata di passeggiate, di gelati e di treccine scampate tra le risate. Cosa ci insegna questa giornata?
