This week, the progress is really picking up: 🔹 Varnish Team — more coats are being built up across the exterior teak 🔹 Electrical Upgrades — modernization is underway behind the scenes for improved reliability and performance 🔹 Repower Prep — getting ready for brand-new power on the horizon Every week brings this iconic Picnic Boat one step closer to an incredible new chapter on the water. Progress continues on Hull #006 as this classic Hinckley Picnic Boat 37 moves closer to the finish line. This week in the shop: • Hull fully faired and in final prep for paint • Structural glasswork largely complete, including a fully re-glassed engine room with new stringers engineered for the repower • New helm pod fabrication underway • Varnish nearing completion — all sealer coats finished, final build coats up next • Twin Volvo D6 480HP diesels have arrived from W.W. Williams and Power Products and have been test-fit with the new stringer layout We’re excited to partner with Raymarine on their latest electronics and digital switching, and Volvo for their marine diesel power solutions. Stay tuned as this PB37 continues to come together.
