This is how I am marking our anchor chain for our sailboat anchor. We have 350 feet of anchor chain. I have laid it out and am marking it, so when we drop our anchor, we know how much we have dropped. I am marking it at every 25'. 25' = 1 Band 50' = 2 Bands 75' = 3 Bands At 100' I change colors and start the process again! We are new sailors on our Sceptre 41 sailboat. If you dig the journey, we would love you to join us on our blog at: https://gypseaexplorer.com/ or any of our other social outlets. Cheers!
When you lock in and accelerate, limits disappear. ⚡️🏁 . Meet the Manta 2026: the board built for riders who crave raw acceleration, speed, and total confidence at full power. From glassy speed strips to rolling ocean chop, the Manta turns every gust into forward drive and every reach into a chance to hit new top speeds. . Smaller sizes race through strong-wind speed runs with precision and control, while larger Mantas deliver powerful lift, early planing, and unmatched efficiency on demanding slalom tracks. Whatever the course — long reaches, technical gybes, tight marks, or pure speed missions — the Manta stays balanced, fast, and ready to dash ahead. Discover your go-to weapon for dominating the course and crossing the finish line first: 🌐 https://tabou-boards.com/boards/manta/ #tabouwindsurfing #tabouboards #notjustbetterdifferent #windsurfing #slalom #racing
First look at the AC38 practice races in Sardinia, where elite crews push these hydrofoiling beasts to their absolute limits. The sheer speed and precision required to stay on the foils during these close crosses is mind-blowing. 32-knot starts. Boundary penalties. Slam-dunk tacks. AC38 practice racing in Sardinia was chaos in the best way possible 🌊 Marco Gradoni & Margherita Porro came out flying for Luna Rossa, but the fleet already looks seriously tight heading into the first Preliminary Regatta. The speed difference at this level?Tiny. The pressure?Massive. #AmericasCup #AC38 #NorthSails #Sailing #Foiling #SailingLife #Hydrofoiling #Sardinia #FoilRacing #Sailboat
A few shots from Lanzarote — a shakedown outing with RAVEN. Shooting for Baltic Yachts and the moment when everything falls into place. Winning line honors in the race that followed was no accident. A large, fast platform with character: you stand calmly with a camera in your hands, glance at the instruments — 22 knots without effort. The shape is completely different: no sharp, flat angles of offshore maxis, but organic lines and smooth curves. A different feeling — but still pure sailing pleasure. Potential? It's here. And it's impressive. @jgtomlinson #spinnakermagazine #spinnakerbureau #RavenYacht #SailingPerformance #BalticYachts
