I was at Catalina Harbor on the "Hawaii side" of Catalina Island about 25 miles off the coast from Los Angeles. As I walked towards the Pacific, the fog started to roll in off the ocean. It rolled past "the pregnant lady" ridge and up the canyon on the opposite side of the harbor. A very beautiful but eerie sit sight. On a hike up to the Maunawili Falls Trail, through heat, mosquitoes and the treacherous landscape, we finally reached the Falls for a refreshing dip in ice cold water. Crystal jumped in with some coaxing, and I captured it on film.
