We sail on the good ship Saracen, a Beneteau Oceanis 473 from 2006. Out journey started in Scotland in early 2023 and our ultimate goal is to sail around the globe …..slowly. We make these videos mostly for family and friends and to create a record of our adventures for ourselves so that we can look back at them later in life, were not in it to make money (way to hard). Giorno 75 - L’acqua dolce a bordo. Iniziamo a entrare nei meandri più nascosti della barca. Oggi vi portiamo a scoprire i segreti che si celano sotto alla panchetta di un divano: la pompa dell’acqua :) Come spiegato nel video, siamo abituati a vivere in barca con 1000 litri di acqua dolce per volta. Da domani, la nostra indipendenza dai porti potrebbe cambiare drasticamente, diventando illimitata la disponibilità di acqua dolce potabile a bordo. Questo significa che non sarà più necessario centellinare l’acqua per le docce, potremo sciacquare il ponte dopo navigazioni “salate” e soprattutto non dovremo più portare mille casse di acque dai supermercati. Una rivoluzione non da poco! Vi aggiorneremo con lo svolgimento dell’installazione:) A domani, Andrea
