Lock your dinghy with the biggest chain you can get. Also, lock your outboard to your dinghy chassis. Overall, make your dinghy look harder to steel than all the other boats around you. Also, there is a such thing as dinghy etiquette! Use a long painter so not to hog the dockside real estate. This enables more boats to get on the dock. And put your outboard down.
