Cómo es la cubierta de un Volvo Open 70. Preparando la navegación a vela de Vigo a Malta. Velas por todas partes, drizas, escotas, estays volantes, contras, grilletes textiles. De todo hay en esta cubierta, además, lo que no es dyneema, es fibra de carbono. Cuando uno se hace a la mar, sobre todo en un barco que es novedad para él, grandes emociones y pensamientos nos recorren de la cabeza a los pies. En un par de horas nos ponemos rumbo a Malta. When the seas make navigation difficult and fatigue causes confusion, we search for beacons of light to help guide our way. We welcome these beacons of light as they bring us comfort and remind us that all will be well. They allow us to reset our course. When we put them abeam, we slow down and make a Moment in Time to remind ourselves of all those that have gone before us and all those that will follow behind.
