I've just come up to this, it's very tight and someone's gone around and done a hitch straight away. Now if you had of done a couple of turns and things before you did this cleat hitch maybe that would help but right now that is rock solid and it's really hard to get off especially in an emergency. So I'm gonna have to roll it. It's just not what I call efficient. Had it been like that and then like that and then you put your cleat hitch on fine. Transit 38 cruising catamaran by Woods Designs overtaking a 41ft FP Lipari to windward in 15-20 knots wind. One cruising couple on each boat. When we met the Lipari we were sailing in the other direction, so had to gybe round to chase them. So we started maybe 1/4mile behind them and right behind. we slowly caught them up. Pointing higher and sailing faster. It is hard to film and steer at the same time!
