When we were sailing towards The Berlenga Archipelago, in between Porto and Lisbon at the westcoast of Portugal, all of a sudden some grey fins came our way: dolphins! It was a joyful bunch, swimming under each other and past each other, jumping in front of the boat. It’s so great to see these animals, it’s always a welcome surprise!

One of the most exciting and anxiety inducing moments is seeing our 17,000 pound sailboat hovering above the ground making its way to the water! being dropped from a few feet off the ground could do more damage than being out in a storm at sea! It's always a feeling of relief when the keel touches the water, and our adventure home is floating again! Day 2 on our Atlantic Crossing. We had very relaxed conditions and were able to unpack our spinnaker again. It's really impressive, especially when there are also some dolphins around 🌊 And we were also rewarded with a bonito, which we used straight away as sushi. Delicious 😋 And it was even so relaxed that we were able to play games.
