Installing a new floor in an Edencraft is far from a simple task. This 565 build has reached the Joining Shed stage. After completing the stringers, full tank installation, foaming, leveling, and glassing, the floor is finally ready for a dry fit. Once the dry fitting is complete, both surfaces will be prepped. The base of the floor will be resin-coated, and the hull will be layered with chopped fiberglass and resin. With precision, the floor is then carefully placed in position and weighted down to create a strong chemical bond between the two surfaces. From this point, any gap between the floor liner and the hull will be filled with foam, sanded to perfection, and sealed with a layer of fibreglass. Então começamos uma pesquisa para encontrar um distorcedor fosse mais forte que a corrente e a manilha, para não termos um ponto falho. Foi aí que encontramos o S2 da Mantus, perfeito para o nosso sistema. A força de trabalho dele é de 2 toneladas, ou seja: muito mais forte que a nossa corrente. O S2 fica entre a corrente e a âncora, permitindo que ela gire livremente e evitando torções que podem enfraquecer o conjunto. Ele vem desmontado e você mesmo monta na hora da instalação, seguindo os passos indicados. So we started researching to find a swivel that was stronger than our chain and shackle, so we wouldn’t have a weak point in the system. That’s when we found the Mantus S2, perfect for our setup. Its working load is 2 tons, which means it’s much stronger than our chain. The S2 sits between the chain and the anchor, allowing the anchor to rotate freely and preventing twists that can weaken the system. It comes disassembled, and you put it together yourself during installation by following the provided steps.
