Round The Island Race with First Class Sailing is an annual event. Set off with over 1000 other racing yachts to circumnavigate the Isle of Wight. Round The Island Race is organised by the Island Sailing Club in Cowes. This is a one-day yacht race around the Isle of Wight. An island situated off the south coast of England. With over 1,000 yachts and around 15,000 sailors, it is one of the largest yacht races in the world and the fourth largest participation sporting event in the UK after the London Marathon and the Great North and South Runs. From Olympic gold medallists and world champions to amateur crews and those trying their hand at racing for the first time, this really is a race for all With First Class Sailing you can take part and experience this top racing event with no experience required. At 65 feet you saw this glorious sailing catamaran arrive and has since been preparing for handover at @theboatworks . The answer depends on how much you want done after market. In this case the team laid 120 square of Burmese teak and installed two ONAN generators. Following the boat going to water the mast was stepped and rigging and sails are installed (this is no small feat, involving 12 people). Finally it’s time for its maiden sail for the final test! Look how beautiful this yacht is off the Gold Coast! All that’s left is handover… we can’t wait for the owner to set sail on their own adventures!
