One of the biggest upgrades cruisers make when upfitting their catamaran with lithium is to add an induction cooktop. In most cases the option is made to completely remove the propane system from the boat. I personally think the smarter play is to leave the propane system in place, and to have an induction cooktop that neatly fits over the factory propane stove. In the event you have an issue with either your battery system or your induction cooktop you have the ability to still cook off of the propane system. The 2018 sailing season on New York's Long Island Sound ended Nov. 24th with the Turkey Day Reach. It was a cold and grey, but a great way to sail away a Thanksgiving food coma. This video shows how well SOULMATES' Uni-Titanium mainsail is holding up after three full seasons of racing. The sail is still smooth, strong and fast.
