One of the biggest upgrades cruisers make when upfitting their catamaran with lithium is to add an induction cooktop. In most cases the option is made to completely remove the propane system from the boat. I personally think the smarter play is to leave the propane system in place, and to have an induction cooktop that neatly fits over the factory propane stove. In the event you have an issue with either your battery system or your induction cooktop you have the ability to still cook off of the propane system. If you have any quesitons on lithium, upfitting your catamaran, or catamarans at large don't hesitate to reach out. Info@CatamaranCentral.com 754 778 SAIL www.CatamaranCentral.com

Global Surveyor on her approach to Gibraltar, one of the busiest waterways in the world! Our AIS screen has been dotted with ships, and the ship traffic took our attention from the monolithic jewel of the Iberian Peninsula: Gibraltar Rock. All went well and after a challenging mooring manoeuvre, we were off to the shore to enjoy the November sunshine in one of the restaurants. With excellent flight connection, Gibraltar is a must see not only for sailors but also nature and history lovers. @gowestsailing
