#shorts So we had lucky dolphins bow ride our sailboat on our first official day under full sail without an instructor or other experienced sailor to aid us. Just me and dad running the boat, riding the wind. Off grid living when aboard a boat is truly unique. Can’t see these kind of things in an RV!

Lagoon 43 Test Sail in the Bay of Palma (Mallorca)! ▫️ Lagoon has been testing the #1 hull since March. This new sailing catamaran model has got off to a roaring start. They have already sold 70. So far, seven have been built. ▫️ The master cabin is forward where it is quieter, and thanks to the shaping from VPLP the space in the forward and aft cabins in the guest hull is very similar. Carbon reinforcement has been used in the saloon to open the whole area up: the "In and Out" solution. ▫️ This boat has similar dimensions the 42 (which remains in production for now), with significantly more living area. ▫️ Base price: €499k. Well kitted boat at €610k. ▫️ #boattest #yachts #new #lagoon43 @LagoonCatamarans1984

Hard to stop but if I don't trust the boats batteries and I am not independent at ashore for 2 weeks--time to fix stuff. StarSloop on the Loop Short # 50 #aglca #Starsloop #greatloop #macgregor #MTLSA #boatdog #Galactica #dog #waterdog

our fridge in the boat is basically a top-loading, very deep box! I can't even reach the bottom. So how do you organise this? How do you make it functional? How do you prepare your fridge for an ocean crossing? sailing, boatlife, sailing life, preparing to cross an ocean, preparing to sail across an ocean, how do you organise your fridge, the struggles of boatlife, the struggles of sailing, organisation, how to get organised, sailing questions, what do experienced sailors do?

I am still trying to diagnose the issue with a lack of water running through the engine. I took the cover off the impeller (water pump) just to eliminate that as a cause. It looks fine. So, based on on my gathered intel, I am now assuming that the problem is a blocked intake (thru-hull) under the boat. That means that I need to go for a swim at some point soon. The temperature of the water is now 44 degrees. 🥶 Restoring this old sailboat is continuing my education on marine mechanics. Love it!
