The crew on J109 Going to Red had some close tussles with J109 Ctrl-J during Cork Week 2024. For the most part Going to Red was faster upwind with Ctrl-J making up ground on the runs. GTR was doing all it could to slip down to leeward to stay in front of the fast charging blue spinnaker. You can't hear the motors over the sound of the water running past the hull up to about 1300 RPMs. Very impressive and really reliable. Love these outboards.
