The brand new Korvet50XLR named Callisto departed from Rotterdam on July 3 for the first leg of her trip to Nassau. Today she will arrive in Brighton from where the journey continues to the Azores. After a refueling stop in Horta the non-stop Atlantic crossing to Bermuda begins. With an average speed of 9 knots the crossing will take under 10 days, depending on sea and weather conditions. Another 4 days of travel takes her from Bermuda to Nassau, her new homeport.
The J109 Going to Red head a slight lead over J109 Joker 2 heading into the first mark of the final race of Cork Week 2024. Both skipper were doing a good job of holding their hight while keeping speed as the battle to beat each other around the first mark.
