As part of their 150th anniversary celebrations, Holland America Line's flag ship Rotterdam retraced her steps and made an Eastbound transatlantic crossing 150 years to the day after the historic first voyage. After leaving New York the first port of call was our home town of Plymouth in South West England. We went along to see the amazing welcome given to guests by the Cruise Plymouth volunteers as well as taking a look of this stunning ship moored off Plymouth's historic shore line. The Kerr 32 HighJacker lead the way in the first race of the annual strangford lough narrows series. The sun was peaking through the clouds just after the start on the first run before the rain and wind built with puffs over 30 knots. The Kerr 32 slipped away for the the J109 GTR on the way to the bottom mark before stretching their lead on the first beat. As the rain and wind kicking in the during the second half of the race the J109 powered on to victory both over the line and on corrected time.
