The Greyhound is a typical Dykstra Naval Architects design, based on Gerry Dykstra's private Bestevaer. The aluminium hull will be build at KM Yachtbuilders over the next few months. It's being build for a Dutch family who has lots of sailing experience. In this video they are welding in the build number (098) themselves. A visible and lasting memory. Marta jumped into the Snipe in 2008 to sail the Snipe Women's Worlds in Spain. She likes sailing Snipes because the boat is so technical -- there are lots of adjustments you can make to the rig to get the boat going its fastest. Sailing the Snipe also requires physical preparation. It's just one part of staying healthy by doing things that are fun.
