Even the anchorage which was protected by two sea walls was rough, I filmed this inside the harbor heading from Monroe Harbor to the Chicago Lock. There were waves crashing and cascading on the outer seawall--wish I would have filmed them as the morning sunrise made them visible. Esse entrou em erupção em 1957, formando uma ponta adicional na ilha. Existia um farol que era a ponta mais avançada, mas depois desse vulcão ficou um pouco pra trás. Visitamos o museu e subimos no farol que já está desativado. Aqui ao pé do vulcão foi o montado o pórtico de chegada da corrida que falei anteriormente.
