ITALY: Boats Seen Stuck Against Bridge After River Bursts Banks in Turin | Latest News The flooding that swamped northern Italy on November 24 and 25 claimed two famous victims in Turin when a pair of tourist boats, described as ?symbols? of the city by La Stampa, were swept away by the surging River Po and crashed into a bridge. This footage shows the flooding and boats against the bridge. The boats are known as Valentino and Valentina, and, according to Repubblica, Valentina sunk after the impact.
