Wandering the laneways of the village of Barangka on Buton Island in Sulawesi, Indonesia, we're overwhelmed by the friendliness of the locals and are even offered Arak, a traditional Indonesian alcoholic drink, particularly popular in Bali. It is typically made from the fermented sap of coconut or palm trees, and can have an alcohol content ranging from 20% to 50%. Pretty close to rocket fuel. La giornata inizia come sempre al pc. Sono giorni pieni e noi vogliamo essere sul pezzo 💪 Per un cavillo burocratico mi ritrovo a percorrere per circa 8 volte il tragitto barca-capitaneria che dista più o meno 700m. Tenendo conto che il nostro contapassi normalmente piange, per me oggi equivale a fare una mezza maratona 😂 Scopriamo dai social dell’arrivo di Andrea Mura qui a Carloforte con la sua famiglia (con il quale eravamo già in contatto per lavoro, presto approfondiremo) e cogliamo l’occasione per incontrarci di persona proprio accanto alla loro barca. Il nostro soggiorno a Carloforte si conclude domani. Faremo rotta verso Cagliari, probabilmente con una sosta intermedia a Isola Tuarredda. Piano piano… Si torna! Cami
