We want to share our GTFO plan of retiring early to explore the world on a Balance 482 catamaran. We plan to retire June 1, 2023, Dennis’s mandatory retirement date when he will have served 30 years in the Army. We currently own a 1984 Catalina 30’ monohull sailboat on the Chesapeake Bay. This is our practice boat and is not designed for the open ocean and too small for full-time, liveaboard life. We put non-refundable money to reserve our Balance 482 catamaran. We are going to be part of the @miamiboatshow from Thursday-Saturday this week! We will be at the @raymarine @battlebornbatteries @ultra_marine_anchoring @highfieldboats @selden_mast @velaboatworks @ugowear booths at various times, as well as a 2 hour slot from 2-4pm on Saturday at the YouTuber booth handing out copies of @latitudesandattitudes magazines with us on the front cover!
