Steve began the journey as an amateur wooden boat builder crafting a 38' wooden sailboat in his backyard: designer William Atkin's Ingrid with a Stormy Petrel's gaff rig. These videos follow the journey from tree felling, to lumber milling, to lofting, to the lead keel pour and now sailing the boat—sharing details of the woodworking, carpentry, metal smithing, tool building, and tool maintenance that traditional wooden boats command. This ultimate DIY project continues beyond the boat shop, as Steve and crew travel and learn to cruise aboard the handmade wooden boat that they've built. Abbiamo fatto un bel viaggio di tre giorni partendo da Porto Garibaldi direzione Parenzo in Croazia, poi da Parenzo siamo andati a Rovigno e infine rientrati a Porto Garibaldi. Purtroppo quasi tutti i due trasferimenti le abbiamo dovuti fare a motore per condizioni di vento non favorevoli o assenza addirittura di vento. Comunque è stata una esperienza davvero molto molto bella. Nota dolente, i prezzi davvero alti, a Parenzo ormeggio di una notte senza luce e acqua, € 44,44, a Rovigno nella marina volevano € 180,00 per una notte, li abbiamo ormeggiato in rada all'ancora e non abbiamo pagato nulla perchè non è passato nessuno a riscuotere. Uno spritz € 8,00 senza niente, neppure un oliva. Cenare mangiando carne non si spende molto, sui 25 euro. Ho usato con molta apprensione il mio Dji mini 2 x qualche ripresa.
