A strong start today for the 49er teams at the Olympic qualifier in Lanzarote. Robert Dickson and Sean Waddilove Team Dickson Waddilove 49er Ireland topped the Day 1 leader-board with Ryan Seaton and Séafra Guilfoyle Out2Win Ryan & Séafra placing an 11-8-8 for the day. Conditions off Playa Blanca in the straits between Lanzarote and Fuerteventura were very unpredictable in the fresh trade-wind conditions with added ocean swell. “It was very tricky with the wind coming off the mountains so a ‘head out of the boat’ day but all-in-all, a great start to the regatta,” commented James O’Callaghan, Irish Sailing’s Performance Director. “There’s a long way to go in this regatta but we couldn’t have asked for a better start.” We'll be posting updates here daily. http://www.mauiwindsurfing.net Playing around with my new camcorder at Kanaha a few weeks ago, caught a few moments of Josh Angulo and Camile Juban (I think) in what was intended to be a Gun Sails photo shoot, but the wind turned super light and offshore so they were pretty underpowered.
I am honored to share with you some great talks on nudibranchs and other sea slugs by researchers from all over the world: Japan, Brazil, Spain, USA, Thailand etc. Every week on Thursday and Sunday a new video. I am very grateful to all my colleagues that agreed to contribute to this project and I hope that these amazing sea slugs and scientists inspire you to learn more about our sea life and help to conserve our oceans 💕🌊
