Patricia and I decided to buy a sailboat while on vacation in French Polynesia. When we returned we ordered a new Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 440 that we got last April. This channel is about the outfitting and upgrades we are doing to the boat plus some Texas Coast adventures while we learn to handle her.

Just nu glider vi fram i 3 knop över ett nästan spegelblankt hav. Det går långsamt, men det är svårt att klaga när omgivningen är så här magisk. Vi har ungefär 180 sjömil kvar och ikväll njöt vi av en god middag i sittbrunnen, kyckling med thaibasilika medan solen gick ner över horisonten. ❤️ Nu är det dags att krypa ner och sova en stund innan jag gör mig redo för mitt nattpass framåt morgonkvisten. Livet ombord handlar om att ta vara på vilan när man kan. Hur tror du att det känns att segla i bara 3 knop när man längtar efter land? Hade du njutit av lugnet eller blivit otålig?
