2024 war wild. Wir sind über 4000 Meilen gesegelt, von der östlichen Karibik über Puerto Rico und die Bahamas nach Florida. Dann im Golfstrom nach Norden und schließlich bis New York City und wieder zurück nach Florida. Wir haben unsere geliebte Wanderling verkauft und ein neues Boot in Griechenland gefunden. Fast alles wird sich nun ändern. Wir sind durch unzählige Ups & Downs gegangen in diesem Jahr. Wie hat nur so viel Leben in 12 Monate gepasst?

John Brewer Reef, Great Barrier Reef is located off the coast from Townsville. We had 4 perfect weather window days with glass out conditions. The reef was so ALIVE with marine life. #greatbarrierreef #sailing #sailingfamily #boatlife #sailboat

Another new skilled I leanred since I bouth Stormy: caulking Here is a little definition: Caulk, to (Verb) - To make watertight by driving or caulking (usually loose cotton fibres) into a seam, followed by a coarser fibre material such as oakum then stopping with pitch or putty. Caulking (Calking) - Boat cotton, oakum or other fibres driven into planking seams to make them watertight. The oldest form of caulk consisted of fibrous materials driven into the wedge-shaped seams between boards on wooden boats or ships.
