The team on J109 GTR owned the start of race 2 of the 2024 Narrows Series, with light wind and lots of bumping and barging behind them their lead grew quickly as they glided out into the strongest part of the tide which brought up their apparent wind allowing the to extend a bing lead after only a few minutes of racing. One of our NSSC Sailability members, Jazz Turner, featured on BBC South East Today lunchtime news whilst sailing on her epic Project FEAR ("face everything and rise") journey. She is attempting to become the first female wheelchair user to complete a solo, non-stop, unassisted circumnavigation of the UK and Ireland. Jazz is raising money for the Newhaven and Seaford Sailing Club (NSSC) Sailability fund.
