Idag bjuder havet på svaga vindar och vi försöker justera så inte seglen fladdrar för mycket. Dyningen är kvar så det gungar mer än det blåser för tillfället. Vi pysslar lite, barnen gör varsin garnboll och njuter av stillheten och lugnet som ofta infinner sig på havet. Första dygnen innan vi fått sjöben är vi så mycket vi bara kan i sittbrunnen, för att undvika sjösjuka. Så det blir också ganska mysigt när vi alla fem vistas på bara några kvadratmeter. Nästan alltid ett barn tätt intill mig som vill prata, gosa eller bara vara nära ❤️ jag tycker det är en av de mysigaste stunderna när vi seglar långt. Vi har ännu mer tid för varandra och kommer varandra ännu närmare ❤️ Vi passade även på att bada jag, Niklas och Erik. Erik tyckte det var konstigt att bada när badstegen inte var rakt ner så det blev mer ett dopp än ett bad. Men det var skönt att svalka av sig 💦 Hoppas du har en mysig dag. J109 Going to Red was weaving in and out of the slower fleets as the made their way to Oban on the first passage race of West Highland Week 2023. Things we relatively calm at this stage of the race with the helping tide reducing the apparent breeze which made for smooth sailing which made it easy to judge close crosses like this one. As the day progress and the breeze built things got a little more lively towards the second half of the race with a few of the close crosses getting done with the boats more out of control than in. The bottom up boats team had a great time at WHYW, the weather was not great but the sailing and the social life more than made up for the damp conditions. I giorni passano e si avvicina sempre di più il secondo grande salto. Sono passati ormai 3 mesi quasi da quando siamo arrivati qui e davanti a noi abbiamo ancora quasi un mese. Un mese in cui prepareremo Julia (carena, rigging, check motore, check vele,…) e prepareremo noi! Ci aspetteranno più o meno 18 giorni tra st marteen e le Azzorre, ma il periodo dovrebbe essere uno dei migliori. Comunque, non vi perderete nulla. Come sempre, verrete con noi e seguirete da vicino i preparativi. Un abbraccio forte a tutti, la testa inizia a tornare a casa! E avremo mille modi per incontrarci tutti insieme, stiamo già pensando a qualcosa…… ma è troppo presto per parlarne!! A domani, che è SABATO! Andrea
