... se mettre à l'eau et VOUS emmener naviguer :-) BONJOUR, JE SUIS UN VOILIER REBELLE ! La voile et la mer sont mes passions, vous l'enseigner est mon métier. Après avoir formé des centaines de skippers et matelots j'étais bien fatigué. C'est alors que mes nouveaux propriétaires et l'architecte qui m'a fait naître ont décidé de me donner une nouvelle vie pour que je puisse continuer à accomplir ma mission avec passion et fougue. Après de nombreux mois de chantier dans mon berceau natal breton, j'ai retrouvé toute ma splendeur. Aujourd'hui, plus beau et plus performant que jamais, je frétille d'impatience de retrouver mon élément et mes nouveaux stagiaires. Voilà où j'en suis. Mon capitaine va bientôt m'installer mes nouveaux cordages, mes nouveaux équipements électroniques et un habile maître voilier va me tailler de belles, solides et performantes voiles... Avec tout ça, je serais fin près pour partager avec vous de grandes aventures... Le Rebelle, c'est un voilier construit et pensé pour (r)éveiller votre sens marin ! Bienvenue à Bord :-)

We're super excited to be a part of the @seakeepers research project mapping the ocean floor. We met the International Seakeepers Society at the Auckland Boat Show 2024 and when we heard about their various projects we asked if we could apply to join their research program of mapping the seafloor (which we did) and within a few days they sent us the logger and some other cool stuff free of charge. This new brand of powered trimarans called LEEN (a clever reflection of Neel, being named after the owner and founder of the yard, Eric Bruneel). The first model launched (before the 72 and now the very new the 51) is therefore the LEEN 56, characterized by the two floats significantly shorter at the bows compared to the central hull, and by a platform of large surface-area, topped by an imposing flybridge. The advantage of these new ocean-going multihulls is their very low drag: consumption will be limited to 2 liters (just over ½ US gal) per mile at cruising speed (9 knots). The diesel engine in the central hull can be supported by two electric pods - one in each hull - to facilitate maneuvering in port and for leaving an anchorage with the greatest discretion.
