Il viaggio prosegue, oggi più lentamente, verso la Martinica. Il vento è leggermente sceso, di conseguenza anche il mare e l’avanzamento sono calati. Punti positivi: possiamo pescare. Punti negativi: sta finendo la marmellata e ogni giorno perso è una colazione rovinata. Ormai siamo insieme da più di un mese. Era il 29 dicembre quando partivamo da Cadice. Vi ricordate? Che sbarbatelli che erano i ragazzi. Adesso viaggio insieme a 5 orsi grigi dai lineamenti vagamente antropomorfici. Si scherza. A parte tutto, ci stiamo abituando a navigare in 6 e pensare di tornare ai ritmi serrati della navigazione in due mi stanca. Il lavoro procede bene. Tutto va bene. Mancano un po’ gli affetti, ma quelli ci leggono e ci stanno vicini da casa ❤️ C.

Vela was out of the water at 10:45, we started removing the leaky thru hull at 11:48, and by 13:40, the new thru hull was in place. Now, we’ve been waiting approx for 3 hours for the epoxy to cure so we can apply a couple of layers of primer! And tomorrow some antifouling 🎨 SUPER EFFICIENT! What do you think? We’re glad we had done this 14 times before tackling this thru hull with limited time. We’re happy to offer tips and guidance if you need it! Eseguire il nodo piano è utile quando si devono unire due estremità dello stesso tipo di cima. Ad esempio per fissare i matafioni oppure per rizzare un fiocco alla battagliola.
