After having spent winter in the shed for some TLC, Saga47swan is now back in the water and will set sail from Whitehaven to Scotland, Faroe Islands, Norway, Shetland and Orkney in 2024! Exciting times ahead!

A quick highlight from our recent trip to Riga, Latvia 🇱🇻, where Katia went behind the scenes at Latitude Yachts to see the LANIAKEA 88’ power catamaran taking shape. This is one of those milestones that never gets old — the moment the hull comes out of the mould and the project suddenly feels real. In the full film, Katia meets the team, walks you through key elements of the build, and shares some of the construction techniques that make a huge difference to strength, finish, and long-term quality. Noch ist’s im Norden bei Cuxhaven ziemlich grau – aber ganz ehrlich: das stört hier niemanden. Wir haben trotzdem die Hafenrundfahrt klar gemacht, ganz gemütlich und ohne Segel. Einmal die Alte Liebe und den Hafenbereich von der anderen Seite sehen – fast wie Urlaub, nur mit Pulli statt Bikini. Der Himmel grau, das Wasser ruhig, die Möwen laut – aber wir? Tiefenentspannt auf’m Wasser unterwegs.
