This FAIRLINE TARGA 52 GT, powered by twin 715hp Volvo Penta EDC diesel engines, is a great hardtop cruiser offering ample space on and below deck. She has a big bathing platform (teak replaced in 2016), a garage housing a tender with a 9.9hp outboard engine, and big sunbathing areas aft and front. 11 gennaio 2020 partenza della Cape2Rio. A bordo di Almagores 2 saranno 17 giorni di traversata, di regata, di avventure, di foto, di video. Ne ho fatto un diario che ora vi racconto 18 video dalla partenza a Cape Town all'arrivo a Rio. +12 Si apre un po il cielo malgrado ancora qualche groppi passeggeri più di pioggia che di vento. Si viaggia bene con gennaker in rotta a una media di 12 nodi. Dopo una cena con filetto al gorgonzola e patate al forno, il cielo ci regala un bellissimo tramonto con all’ultimo respiro, quando sparisce del tutto il sole nel mare, una bellissima luce verde. Il cielo si tinge poi di rosa, viola, arancione, che sembra un quadro impressionista. Ancora sotto il fascino dei colori vediamo piccoli delfini che saltano completamente fuori dell’acqua. Sembra che anche loro sono euforici del spettacolo di colori.

Today way a day of sitting in the sunshine and splicing ropes for a new bridal on my mooring. My hands are sore but the ropes are done and they look pretty good! Today you can buy dock lines and anchor lines with an eye already spliced into one end, but this is more expensive than buying the same line off a spool. It also forces you to buy your line in one of the available lengths. Putting in your own eye splice can be a better option. A splice you put in yourself will be just as strong as one done by a professional rigger, and splicing an eye into three-strand rope is really very easy.
