Corrosion perforante découverte sur la poutre transversale de notre Lagoon 42 (2018), au niveau de la jonction des daviers. Après démontage et nettoyage, des traces de corrosion galvanique importantes sont apparues, avec perforation localisée de l’aluminium. Si vous êtes propriétaire de Lagoon 40 ou 42, vérifiez la zone sous les daviers avant : inox / aluminium + humidité + électrolyte = corrosion galvanique possible. Nous documentons ici le constat, sans conclusion hâtive. Sailing 800 miles upwind to the Caribbean might have been our best passage ever! Normally right on the nose we had a light wind close reach/close hauled passage just before Christmas when we sailed from the Bahamas direct to St Martin. I'm putting some videos online of the next refit that I'm reluctantly performing on Voyager. You can find them on the YT page for the Podcast. This was the first 2 days in the yard, getting ready for the mast to come down in preparation for the keel coming off. Everything has gone fine so far but ive had to do some unexpected fibreglass work which was obviously a joy. Cheers! #sailing
