These videos were originally in Dutch, and I am now creating new versions with more explanation and an English voice-over to take you with me on my preparation journey. LAS AVES!!! 🪽🦃🦜 El nombre del archipiélago se debe a la predominancia de aves migratorias que descansan ahí, entre las que se aprecia la portada del vídeo bobo patas azules, la gaviota de veras, la tiñosa, la guanaguanare, el playero turco, la tijereta de mar e incluso…simpáticos flamencos!!!🦩🦩🦩 Tanto en las islas de Sotavento, como en las de Barlovento. Se encuentra prácticamente deshabitado, sólo posee una población flotante de pescadores que en determinadas épocas del año se instalan en las islas, y en algunos casos construyen pequeñas rancherías que usan para sus actividades pesqueras, donde podéis ver, que Miguel estuvo allí,…súper a gusto!!😜 No sólo es un paraíso tropical en pleno centro del Mar Caribe, sino que es una de las Reservas de Fauna más importantes de toda la medianía del Continente Americano. Okay, this one is an option, but it’s great and we’re going to go with it on Mira. Advantages: Lighter Longer life-span Stronger and can actually bear the force of redirecting lines via a carabiner/shackle Allows way more water to flow through(safer) More resilient with individual Dyneema lashings instead of using one or two segments to attach Disadvantages: Added cost (approximately $5k as of this video) The rigging person will have phantom hand cramps appear when thinking of your boat
