Não gostava desse bicho. Mas, a partir do sétimo mês de idade notei que o macho (o THOR) era muito apegado comigo. Então comecei a leva-lo diariamente nas minhas caminhadas. Criou-se, entre nós, uma amizade muito bonita e elogiada por pessoas amantes dos pets. Com o tempo, de forma natural e impeceptível, o cão passou a me obedecer em muita coisa, Inclisive não atravessandoa rua sem minha ordem. No mês que completei 66 anos, 2,5 anos após ter o Thor, por insistênica de amigos e principalmente da minha filha, comprei minha primeira bicicleta da vida. Quando fui pedalar a primeira vez meu corção partiu ao deixar meu amigo. Tentei coloco-lo no guidão, mas ele é grande e eu muito barbeiro. Então encostei a bike e não andei enquanto não comprei um reboque para puxá-lo. Como sou aventureiro por natureza, resolvi criar um desafio: sair de Morrinhos, GO, e chegar até Paraty, RJ, onde mora minha filha.

► The Fédération des Industries Nautiques (France’s Nautical Industries Federation), which brings together the majority of French manufacturers in the sector, has just released its figures for the 2022/2023 financial year and has indicated the trends for 2024 at a press conference held on a barge at the foot of the Eiffel Tower. The survey acknowledges there was a post-Covid boom period, with new yacht registrations showing a sharp decline of 23.1% compared to the 2021/2022 period. This drop mainly affects the dayboat motor market for boats under 7 m/23 feet (down 27%) as well as the monohull sailboat sector from 9 to 16 m/30 to 52 feet (down 28%), both of which are struggling to cope with the increasingly attractive multihull offer – this growing by 5%, buoyed by the dynamism of power multihulls. There is also a growing interest in river and inland waterway cruising - a sector where multihulls could gain a foothold. According to the FIN, these figures for the French market also reflect those for Europe and even for the world market as a whole. As for 2024, according to Jean-Paul Chapeleau, the vintage promises to be one of “Market readjustment and a return to normal”. Hand feeding Rick Wallabies 🥕🍎 • • • One if the biggest highlights of Magnetic Island was getting to hand feed Rock Wallabies. There's SO many Wallabies on Arcadia Point living in and around the giant boulders. They are super curious and friendly and come right up to you to take food right out of your hand. There are signs around for appropriate food to feed the Wallabies and what foods not to feed these awesome animals. Charlie had such a great time feeding all the Wallabies and giving them carrots and apples.
