The long anticipated premier of the first two MC31s to hit the water played out in todayβs passage race between Melbourne and Geelong for the start of the Geelong Festival of Sails. With John Taylorβs Vindaloo and Rohan Vealβs 38 South Racing sailing their respective boats quite literally βstraight out of the boxβ β Rohanβs sails arrived in Melbourne this morning β both skippers were delighted with their first outing, and are looking forward to using their kites tomorrow, after an upwind race today.
