Those who restore classic yachts help maintain sailing history – from wooden schooners and meter boats to one-designs. Now, a more modern classic has been restored. George Radley Jr. of Cobh, Ireland, has owned the Ron Holland-designed IMP since the ’90s and has just done a major restoration of this famous 1970s IOR winner. Over the decades, the boat has kept her distinctive look with her topsides painted in a rainbow horizontal green bands going from light green to dark green at the waterline. Originally built for San Francisco sailor David Allen in 1977, the boat was a radical design that turned out to be a breakthrough on the IOR scene. Here is a video of IMP sailing off Cork, Ireland, with her new set of UK Sailmakers X-Drive carbon sails.

Cómo se hace el nudo diamante fácil. Hoy te voy a enseñar DIY soft shackle de manera super sencilla. Este nudo, el diamond knot, lo vas a necesitar para hacer el grillete textil. Lo puedes hacer tanto con cabo con funda como desnudo. Puedes hacer el nudo diamante tanto en dyneema como en poliester. Aunque, si lo haces en un grillete textil, te recomiendo que lo hagas en dyneema por las cargas extremas que soporta. Vissa spenderar fredagskvällen framför Netflix. Vi tittade på två sengångare som hade en parningsceremoni och sedan klättrade upp på elkablarna vid marinan. 😅 Det är svårt att förklara hur annorlunda livet känns när naturen blir en del av vardagen. Ibland är det delfiner som leker runt båten, ibland apor i träden. Och ibland... två väldigt långsamma romantiker som bjuder på kvällens underhållning. Inte direkt vad vi hade planerat för en fredag i Panama, men definitivt något vi kommer minnas. ❤️ Är du team storstadspuls eller team sengångare på elkablar? 😅
