āŗ Full test in Multihulls World Secial Issue Forever Green NĀ°22: https://www.multihulls-world.com/review/catamaran/greencat-52-energy-transition-a-la-carte āŗ Based in La Rochelle on Franceās Atlantic coast, the Chantiers de l'Arsenal shipyard is best known for its āDay 1ā range of day-charter catamarans, of which some 15 units in sizes from 60 to 90 feet have already been sold worldwide. The manufacturer is also taking an interest in electrically powered workboat catamarans but has also just launched its first recreational multihull. This catamaran, christened the Greencat 52, was delivered to a private owner planning on setting off on a round-the-world cruise. An eco-responsible approach accompanies the entire project - no molds thanks to One ShapeĀ® technology, use of a sandwich with recycled PET foam and, of course, installation of two electric motors (Transfluid).
