La nostra bella Freya deve prepararsi per stare bene per tante e tante miglia ancora, quindi senza pensarci troppo abbiamo già fatto cominciare la nuova stagione, quella del cantiere. I lavori in lista sono tanti e impegnativi. Per dirvene qualcuno, abbiamo disalberato per fare una modifica al sartiame e stiamo facendo un ponteggio intorno alla barca per gelcoattare lo scafo e risistemare la coperta. We bought a canyoning harness before leaving Australia and it was still adjusted for Carolyn’s small size, so she was the one to try it first. The fourth mast step was too stiff to be opened so that’s as high as she climbed. We’ll need to carry some kind of persuader to open them, until they free up a bit. After that first climbing effort we had a second go in the fading light, with the two halyards again but also the winch this time. Much easier, for her! :-)
