Teams of scientists have discovered several new species in the Florida Keys and in honor of Key West legend Jimmy Buffett, named these new species after him. One of the new species is the Keys Margarita Snail (Cayo margarita) for its lemon-lime color that looks like the margaritas of Margaritaville. (Bieler et al. 2023) Another new species is Gnathia jimmybuffetti, a tiny, 3mm-long gnathiid isopod that is extra special because it's the 1st new gnathiid isopod to be discovered there in 100 years (Erasmus et al. 2023). 🇫🇷 Depuis trois jours, Damien Seguin était dans des vents calmes dû à la Zone de Convergence Intertropicale, plus couramment appelée « Pot-au-Noir ». Cette période de vent léger a permis au groupe de poursuivants de se rapprocher du skipper d'APICIL. This period of light winds allowed the chasing pack to close in on the APICIL skipper.
