We have just replaced the Reefing Lines in our Boom. We have only two reefing points: A normal first Reef and a Deep Second Reef. We decided it was a simpler solution for us---versus adding another line. Todays short, we are tearing off the old windlass on my sailboat to get it all cleaned up and resealed to mount in a new stainless backing plate! The original washers just were not going to cut for my liking so out with the old and in with the new!
