North Star and Clipperton were out on charter last week, showing off Scotland’s wild beauty under sail. From steady breezes to classic west-coast swells, both crews enjoyed the kind of conditions that remind you why these waters are a favourite among seasoned sailors. #SailingScotland #NorthStar #Clipperton #CharterSailing #GoWestSailing #SailorsLife #SailScotland #YachtCharterScotland

Join boats.com reviewer Lenny Rudow as he gets a first look at the all new ZF Marine "Project Disruption" at the 2017 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show. This concept places a gearbox within the propshaft strut that drives contra-rotation propellers, which allows inboard boat builders to consider a wider range of transmission ratios than what is possible today given propeller sizing constraints for single propeller shaftlines. The reefs around Turneffe Atoll are characterized by a shallow sandy area with a bunch of mixed coral heads covered in sea fans, sponges, and hard corals. Here the coral comes right up to the surface and it's ideal for getting close to marine life without the need to duck dive. The average depth where we'll spend the majority of our time is around three to ten feet. Here we have the best mix of healthy colorful coral and marine life. Aside from the clear blue water, very mild to absent currents, and vibrant scenery, one of the best things about the snorkeling Belize is that you never run out of reef of explore, they just kept going and going and going!
