Après avoir formé des centaines de skippers et matelots j'étais bien fatigué. C'est alors que mes nouveaux propriétaires et l'architecte qui m'a fait naître ont décidé de me donner une nouvelle vie pour que je puisse continuer à accomplir ma mission avec passion et fougue. Après de nombreux mois de chantier dans mon berceau natal breton, j'ai retrouvé toute ma splendeur. Aujourd'hui, plus beau et plus performant que jamais, je frétille d'impatience de retrouver mon élément et mes nouveaux stagiaires. Voilà où j'en suis. Mon capitaine va bientôt m'installer mes nouveaux cordages, mes nouveaux équipements électroniques et un habile maître voilier va me tailler de belles, solides et performantes voiles... On the other hand, the atmosphere both on and off the water has never been better. The trade winds, in fine form at between 20 and 25 knots, undoubtedly had something to do with it... The five entrants in CSA 1 enjoyed superb courses towards Saba, Saint-Barts and Anguilla. The HH66 Lee Overlay Partners (ex Nemo) put on a great show, impressively flying a hull and, above all, peak speeds pushing 30 knots. The Gunboat 72 Layla was not to be outdone, with her GPS recording a top speed of 24.5 knots. The La Grande-Motte shipyard's first flybridge catamaran won the overall race on corrected time. The Diam 24 fleet was of course severely tested by the choppy conditions, but there too, they put on quite a show. In this fury of spray and exciting runs, the crew of Anomaly came out on top, leaving their rivals with no chance of a rematch.
